The Data Analyst position requires an experienced, self-motivated individual with strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.

Vertek Data Analysts are responsible for leveraging software applications to design solutions, perform detailed data mapping and analysis, and produce business intelligence for end clients. The position requires individuals to be innovative in the design and development of analytics and the assessment and trouble shooting of business problems.

Successful candidates will need to be comfortable in an environment where there may be multiple high priority tasks to be managed. In addition, they will be responsible for communicating frequently with client stakeholders regarding business rules and analysis.

Candidates should have experience with working in an Integrated Development Environment (IDE), be familiar with development cycle methodologies, and have a high comfort level in processing and analyzing large data sets. Candidates should also possess the ability to project manage tasks independent of direct supervision and work directly with internal and external teams.

The position is based in Colchester, Vermont, the Green Mountain State, known for its high quality of life, safe environment for children, good school systems, and plenty of outdoor activities centered around the sixth largest lake in the country, many ski areas, and hiking and biking trails, all in a beautiful area of New England.
