Careers: PROVISIONING SPECIALIST / PROVISIONING ENGINEER

Vertek Corporation, a leading provider of telecommunications services located in Colchester, VT, is looking for project managers to join our Telecom Provisioning team.

The Provisioning Specialist / Provisioning Engineer position provides a combination of technical and project management support for client projects involving data, voice, and advanced and core IP technologies. People in the position are responsible for gathering customer technical configuration information, validating and documenting technical configurations, and placing and managing orders with various partners to meet client expectations.

Provisioning Specialists and Provisioning Engineers manage the customer experience as a customer moves through the activation of their network service and document the project’s progress in various database systems. The position includes significant client interfacing and project management responsibilities. Qualified candidates should have a BA/BS degree, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a minimum of 2 to 3 years experience in project management. Cisco CCNA/CCDA is required. Experience in the telecommunications industry is a plus.
