Vertek Corporation, a leading provider of telecommunications services located in Colchester, VT, is seeking an experienced telecommunications professional with strong communications, problem solving, and customer service skills. Vertek Business Analysts and Business Consultants provide expert level business process consulting to facilitate the identification and optimization of telecommunications operational processes. They serve as thought leaders in telecom best practices and business process re-engineering. The Business Analyst/Consultant works with customers, both in a pre-sale and post-sale capacity, to facilitate the establishment of the strategy, vision, and governing principles for the implementation of customer services and solutions.

Candidates will need a proven track record in project management, process improvement, and business planning. The ideal candidate will possess applicable qualifications and demonstrate extensive knowledge and experience in the telecom industry. Qualified candidates need to have a minimum of 5 years telecom experience, BA/BS degree, and robust PC skills. Knowledge of eTOM, Six Sigma and/or ITIL is a plus. Some travel is required.

The position will require relocation to Vermont, the Green Mountain State, known for its high quality of life, safe environment for children, good school systems, and plenty of outdoor activities centered around the sixth largest lake in the country, many ski areas, and hiking and biking trails, all in a beautiful area of New England.
